Like the man said, I've been doing this s*!% for years son, holding it down. Most of you won't realize because most of the action took place well before the internet that we all know today. So this collection of remixes of classic hip-hop tracks - cooked up over the years by yours truly (all original recipes) - should help set things straight.

Some of these go all the way back to 1999; there's a batch from around 2004-2006, and then there is the most recent one (and also the catalyst for this release), De La's masterpiece "Stakes Is High", which - by the way - is also available to view as a video - link: youtu.be/YsiHARhNzsw.

As I am first and foremost a fan of this amazing culture, this is definitely something I'm putting out here for free for general enjoyment, so don't hesitate to get into it, download it, share it and use it. My man Chuck P always used to big up my little commentaries on the back of my tapes, so I took that as an inspiration here and put it in a whole bunch of background for each track - click on "info" for each one to discover more.

Fat Daddy is based in Geneva, Switzerland. The love of hip-hop began in ‘88, after hearing PE’s Millions & Rakim’s Fiend. Turntables action kicked off in ‘91 while in London. Back home, between 1995-2006 he released 27 mix tapes, hosted 2 radio shows, DJ’ed all around Geneva & other Swiss cities, produced The Chocolate Lover EP in 2002 & created many more beats & remixes.
